*Who can donate blood?*
Healthy adults in the age group of 18-60 can donate blood. You will be medically examined before blood donation and your blood will be tapped only if you are fit to donate.
*How much blood is taken and what will happen to me after donation?*
300 ml of blood is taken. This will not produce any symptoms or changes in body as normal adult has a blood volume of about 4.5-5 litres.
*How frequently can you donate blood?*
You can safely donate every 90 days. That’s 4 times a year.
*Do doctors donate blood?*
Yes. Most doctors are more than willing to donate as and when requested.
